Matt McAteer
Director
With years of experience as a Critical Care Paramedic, Matt has operated in Rescue Helicopters throughout Australasia – from serving as a Rescue Swimmer in the tropical waters of Northland, to conducting high-altitude mountain rescues in the Southern Alps, and providing prolonged care to critically ill patients in the central Australian outback.
He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Extreme Environment Medicine, recognising his expertise and leadership in remote and high-risk medical environments.
Matt’s client focus ensures that he understands and addresses each client’s unique needs, creating a collaborative environment that leads to outstanding results and long-term partnerships.
Dr. Tristan Sames
Clinical Medical Director
When Tristan isn’t saving lives in the ICU, he’ll likely be running an ultra marathon in some far corner of the world. Tristan’s journey into medicine began as a Critical Care Paramedic, where he honed his skills in high-pressure situations and developed a deep understanding of emergency medicine.
With experience spanning prehospital, retrieval, and intensive care, Tristan brings a rare blend of practical field expertise and advanced clinical knowledge. His analytical approach and calm leadership make him a trusted advisor in both the planning and execution of complex medical operations.
Tristan drives clinical excellence in the team to ensure that clients have an adequate level of care relative to the risk of their project.
